Positive: Our regular stop on our way to Montreal from Toronto when leaving after work. The river is always a wonderful sight. Not fancy, but clean and the staff are always welcoming.

Positive: The property was lovely, cabins were cute and functional but outdated. The two fireplaces kept it nice and warm.

Negative: The bed wasn’t very comfortable and it wasn’t the cleanest place. Cobwebs in corners and on curtain rods, floors needed to be swept/vacuumed, windows needed cleaning and we needed to rewash dishes before we could use them. We were also asked to keep the water trickling so pipes didn’t freeze which was annoying to listen to.

Positive: Couldn't have asked for a quieter location to spend a few relaxing and cozy days. Off season booking allows for a very quiet stay. The staff were very friendly and looking to help us with anything. The themed cottages offer an enhanced experience over what one might expect in a standard hotel. Given that they are located right by the water we were provided with an exceptional viewing experience from sunrise to sunset. It's far enough away from any high traffic areas that the sound of vehicles isn't an issue, yet it's close enough to stores that one may need without being an inconvenience.

Negative: As much as the fireplace was an absolute joy to sit in front of, the heat did not quite reach the bedroom. Nothing we couldn't fix with a warm blanket but something to consider nonetheless.

Positive: Owners of this establishment are absolutely incredible!!! Nothing like making me feel like family and now they have updated tvs!!! Breakfast was awesome....whole experience here is amazing 😍🤩

Positive: This was a last minute booking and I arrived just after the published office hours. I rang the doorbell and was greeted and checked in promptly. I would be leaving before the breakfast service so the owner went out of the way to fix me a plate with fruit, breakfast sandwich, juice box and granola bar. The room upon entering had the gas fireplace running. The whole experience as short as it was was very pleasant and relaxing. I will be returning.

Negative: Wish I could have been there longer to enjoy more of the property.

Summary: Beautiful little private hotel that has a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Positive: The owner was incredible....they let me check in early as it was my birthday and even had a beautiful card for me waiting along with my room!!! Offered me delivered room breakfast !!! Just what they needed to do!!! I will be staying here again and can't wait till my next stay!!! Incredible place !!!
