Positive: Central position. Stone throwing from the station. Nice lake view. Very friendly stuff.
Negative: The dinner and the breakfast were delicious but overpriced.

Positive: The property is really cute and clean. The room was very spacious and well furnished, beds are comfortable. The big + is the onsen! I really enjoyed it. The staff is lovely and the breakfast delicious. I really appreciated my stay!

Positive: Very nice, traditional ryokan in a beautiful location. I stayed there for a night on family holiday with a baby and my parents. We had a room with an amazing see view. The rooms were well heated, it was pleasantly warm inside despite quite winter night. The futons were comfy, there was green tea and some snacks in the room. Traditional breakfast was tasty and filling. We really recommend this place.

Positive: Good place to stay while visiting Amanohashidate. Just a short walk from the train station. The dinner and breakfast served were delicious traditional Japanese meals. The staff cooking and serving were extremely friendly and helpful, even though I was unfamiliar with some of the food that was being served. Room had a great view of the water and the onsen facilities were nice. Staying here felt like I was visiting a friend's grandparent's house (in the nicest possible way).
Negative: They used a scent in the room (air freshener, I think?) that wasn't my favorite. But it wasn't too bothersome.

Positive: Very clean room, stylish relax rooms and corridors, clean bath, kind staff, very taste breakfast and dinners, great location.
Negative: The price of staying was too expensive in my opinion, because it is not ryokan, but minshuku. But all services were okay.

Positive: We arrived at 6 pm to catch the golden hour at the Amanohashidate, which is only 10 mins walk from the hotel. It was ease to find a parking spot thanks to the assistance of the staff (old lady). Rooms were OK, onsen small but nice.
Negative: The staff could not speak English and it caused a lot of troubles. Firstly Booking.com offered a possibility to pay 10€ for the breakfast. They did not offer this and we were disappointed. By the check-out we wanted to use the bath before next trip. Staff (middle aged man) was VERY rude and started to shout at us. We did not know, that onsen was only until 9 am, no one told us… So again, if we would know more, we would have less troubles. The place is still nice and I hope that the staff (probably owners?) will learn at least a super basic phrases to avoid such situations.
