Positive: We spent four nights at the Jaya Suites Hotel in Phnom Penh, and for the most part the experience was excellent. The room was large, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were generally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Negative: On our last night, we checked out at 1 a.m. with a taxi waiting to take us to a sleeper bus to Siem Reap. The front desk had someone inspect the room and claimed we had consumed two bottles of water and two cans of Sprite from the minibar. To be clear, we did not touch the Sprite, and the only water we drank was clearly labeled as complimentary. Because our taxi was waiting, I paid the USD $10.35 charge rather than argue.
