Positive: Rustic luxury at its best! From the very first moment, the warmest welcome at the camp continued throughout our entire stay. The lovely owner/manager and the caring staff truly made us feel at home. With 15 years in business, it’s clear they are doing everything right. Everything was simply fantastic — from the camel rides, the breathtaking sunset, and the lively evening show, to the delicious tapas followed by dinner. Breakfast the next morning was equally delightful. Our room had everything we needed: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The whole place radiates harmony and peace — just the way it should be. Shukriya! 🙏✨

Positive: This is a camp in the desert. So, my expectation regarding comfort were low. I was very much surprised about the room and would not call it a tent. It's also possible to stay in a traditional hut. I recommend doing a camel ride there and in the evening there are some traditional dances and musique. That was very nice as well. Ameen really takes care of his guest. You will enjoy the stay there, I'm pretty sure.

Positive: We arrived in the camp early afternoon and had time to visit the houses near by. It was a very good experience to see how people live near desert. We had an organized camel trip to see sunset. After coming back we had a wonderful music and dance presentation before we got dinner. Everything was really wonderful. Next morning we had breakfast before our host brought us to Jaisalmer. At the location was no wifi, but our host tried to give us his own wifi.

Positive: Ameen is a great fixer. He helped arrange a private concert (not a culture tour) with excellent local Rajasthani musicians. The desert camp accommodations are simple but solid for the desert environment, and Ameen is very attentive and will fix you up with whatever you're looking for.

Positive: Ameen is the sweetest man who took us to the desert for a night! The whole trip was amazing and everything ran so smoothly. We arrived and had beautiful chai, rode camels into the desert, watched sunset and then slept overnight with Ameen. He was so caring ensuring we had everything we needed. The breakfast was freshly prepared and we ate overlooking the beautiful sand dunes the next day. Ameen feels like family now. Please go stay at this beautiful place

Positive: I liked this beautiful desert camp at first sight. With its walls, painted in warm, earthy tones, the mud-bungalows are perfectly integrated in the environment. The small restaurant welcomes you with a shady place to sit and drink some cold water or have a chai or coffee. A local camel-driver takes good care for you during the ride to the sunset-point, where you enjoy the silence while watching the pale sun slowly descending behind the dunes. Dinner on open air starts with some snacks, before the all-you-can-eat-buffet is served. Typical local food with roti (Indian flat bread) and a sweet dessert are provided. With your dinner you enjoy soft drinks or cold beer. The music and dancing-programme is very impressing, as the locals show all their passion for traditions in the performance. While first I booked a bed in one of the well-equipped bungalows, at last I decided to sleep on a bed under the starry sky close to the sand-dunes, which was an amazing experience. Throughout it was an excellent stay and whenever I return to Jaisalmer, I' d go there again! The value for money is great. Transport to the camp, a camel-ride and dinner are provided at a reasonable prices, which you inquire about in advance.
