Summary: Awesome stay, great location. Quiet and comfortable.

Summary: A luxurious, tastefully decorated spacious apartment. Upon arrival the owner George greeted us. Inside the apartment was a fresh bowl of fruit and in the fridge a chilled bottle of white wine. The location of the apartment was beatifully quiet, yet only a 5 minute walk to the local Taverna's and beach. The people opposite were welcoming and friendly whenever we needed advice on the local area. Having had many holidays in Greece, it's a common known fact that the beds in Europe are generally firmer than those in either the UK or US, I suffer with back and neck problems and when I found the bed slightly firmer than what I was used to, I mentioned this to George who the next day went out and purchased a sumptuous mattress topper and kindly left it in the apartment, which we discovered when we returned from the beach. We were blown away by his kindness and thoughtfulness. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. We were due to fly home on the 11th October, however due to a fire at Luton airport our flight was cancelled. Upon receiving the news first thing in the morning, George's mother personnaly came round and very kindly told us we could stay as long as we needed without charge until we got another flight. She did not have to do this, but out of pure kindness our fears were allayed. This family's kindness has surpassed any other experience that we have had on holidays in the past. We will be returning next year!!
