Summary: My son and I were in town to visit UCONN. It was a 5 hour trip. We arrived at 3:15 and asked if we could check in a little early. We were told we could but would cost $25. I can understand if room is not ready but why not let us get to our room less than an hour before 4pm? We would rather he just say the room wasn’t ready. It is not a great way to welcome travelers. Room was fine and beds were comfortable.

Summary: Issues at check in typically reserve mobility accessible, disconnect during check-in staff was a little dramatic when I requested a first floor room and we were travelling from Florida to CT; let's just say only one of us should have been dramatic, many traffic issues seemed overwhelmed insisting hotel was sold out. Our assigned room was on 2nd floor, with no elevator and the very end of building thankfully there was a chair mid way to the room. Room's AC sounded like a washer continually on spin cycle, room was not properly cooling.

Summary: The lack of an elevator was a mild issue, since my wife hurt her ankle, so stairs were difficult. But, we worked through it. However, the hotel ran out of bottled water and had limited other options in the form of non-sugary soda (just Diet Coke). Again, not insurmountable, because there is a Big Y store in the next lot, so I walked over and bought a 6-pack of water. It just seemed that the staff didn't care enough to help, like it was my fault.

Summary: Very rude neighbors across the hall. Loud at 9:45 at night Adults snd several kids in and out of two rooms laughing and having a “dance party.” Everyone said goodbye in the hallway at 11:45 pm including the adults making sure every kid said “thank you.” To their “host.” Front desk called our room at 11:15 saying there was a note in the system that we requested towels. We were sleeping. We didn’t ask for towels. Nice room and courteous staff but we won’t be staying again. And the person above us ;’(we were in 127). Was exercising and we could hear the thumping above our head for half an hour. Surprised we could hear anything above us.

Summary: Both the evening and day desk clerks were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable.. An upgrade to the coffee would be a definite plus.
