For yours farm holidays In the middle of Tuscany, amid hillside olive groves and chestnut woods, enjoy panoramic views of the magnificent Arno valley at the historic country farm Morniano, 20 km south of Florence (Hwy exit Incisa Valdarno). Built of stone and ancient ceiling timbers, the house contains a lovely (77 sq. Meter) rental apartment that comfortably accomodates 2-4 people. Accessed by a private entryway, the apartment was renovated 9 years ago but retains its historical characteristics. It contains a large, eat-in kitchen with a fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed, a living / bedroom with 2 single beds and a bath. Facing south, it is beautifully furnished with antique country furniture.
The foundation of the house was built in the 12th century. The building was enlarged in the 17th century and completed in 1658. Historically Morniano was a place that offered hospitality for pilgrims on their way to Rome.

Summary: Absolutely loved our time at this idyllic property , Maurizo and Andrea were outstanding hosts. Exactly what we were looking for. Centrally located for the areas we wanted to explore in Tuscany, close to trains, the highway, mid evil towns, Florence, Sienna, Pisa, lots of food options. We will definitely stay here again.

Summary: Andrea and Maurizio were very gracious and helpful hosts. They provided research and maps to direct us everywhere we inquired and more. The apartment was charming and beautiful set deep into the Tuscan countryside. The property and view was spectacular. For a remote ish and relaxing out of city bustle stay we highly recommend this location.

Summary: Nestled high on a hill overlooking a deep valley the views are superb. The apartment is clean, elegant, spacious and light filled. The grounds are made up of olive orchards and beautiful gardens providing the visitor endless opportunities to explore. The hosts are warm and welcoming. This is much more than a "stay", it is an experience not to be missed! Thank you so much for a memorable stay!

Summary: This was a beautiful place, accomodations were spacious, comfortable, just like home with a good kitchen, lovely patio and a swimming pool. We just wanted to spend time in the beauty of the gardens and surrounding views.

Summary: An idyllic rural escape especially after 5 nights in Rome. This is the place if you are wanting to see the other side of Italy as a return to nature where you can forget about the daily grind and fully immerse yourself in nature ... the sounds or lack of it are stunning but be prepared to drive to enjoy. Andrea and Maurizio were lovely and welcoming from the start and Tiddy the house guard was loved by all. The house provided all that we needed as a family of 4 and we would love to return in the near future we are grateful to have been able to enjoy this beautiful house and location Many Thanks from us all Debbie Micheal Josh and Ethan

Summary: We enjoyed a great week at this property in June, this year. After an unforgettable week we spent last year at this property we decided to come back. He had one of the best holiday, exactly like last year. This place has a lot to offer: a marvelous silent landscape, a beautiful apartment with a great swimming pool and gorgeous garden, a lovely landlord family, just to mention only few of the particularities. It is a perfect starting point to visit the cities in the region (Sienna, Firenze, and Arezzo) and consider visiting the small cities or villages as well. On the other side, if you want to be pleased with the quietness of the nature then you are in the right spot. The landlord gives you a lot of valuable tips related to the restaurants, food, trips and everything you need to know to feel enjoyable. Use them, it really helps! To conclude, we will definitely come back and I highly recommend this property.

Summary: "Great location on top of a hill. The owners are friendly and fluent in both French and English. The duplex was clean, comfortable and with nice furniture’s. We have particularly enjoyed taking our breakfast on the private terrace with a beautiful view on the valley. Our 4 year’s old daughter has spent hours in the swimming pool. Firenze and Sienna are not far away for a one day trip and driving around was a real pleasure as there are many villages to visit."

Summary: "What a fantastic place!Beautiful views from the house and the swimming pool on the hill. Extremely friendly owners who give all kinds of useful advice tourists need. Great garden with a variety of plants,herbs and trees. A spacious kitchen and bedrooms with everything you need. Close to Florence,Siena,Lucca and Chianti with its wonderful red wine.One week for us was definitely not enough:)Fully recommended!"
