Summary: Interior of house nicely decorated, clean, bedrooms did not have a place for underwear and folded garments. The deck needs repairs on the left side of home and was also in need of pressure washing.

Summary: This little property was a gem! It’s located just inside the island and was the perfect place for a family stay. It was close enough to bike or walk to all the little shops and art galleries but far enough away from the chaos of the nightlife. Unless you wanted to bike there. We had kids so we avoided that part. We were only about a block and a half from the beach. It was the perfect spot for us. It stayed quiet and was not crowded the entire 5 days we enjoyed it. We even had it to ourselves several times. The beach was also the home to Tybees own dolphin pods! We took a tour with captain dereks and learned all about them and then could sit on the shore and watch them every night. If you prefer bigger waves and more crowds. The house is a short bike to the nature center, lighthouse and main north beach. Our house and property was adorable, clean, well stocked and comfortable. Our hosts were the best! They kept in contact the entire time. It truly felt more like dealing with friends than total strangers. We will certainly be back. Thank you!!!

Summary: Dockhouse was our home away from home for a week, and we’ll be back. We had one (minor) question during our stay, and David responded immediately to all communication before, during, and after our visit. Our previous visits to Tybee were with kids/grands, so “grown-up” and dog- friendly recommendations were much appreciated. The property is located on US-80, so I can see traffic being a concern during very busy weekends, but it wasn’t a problem for us Two minute walk to Tybee Oaks (get your morning coffee at Tybean!) and less than 5 minute walk to Byers beach, which, although smaller, is a great place to spend a day with a good book. The house had everything we needed and memory foam mattresses were super-comfortable. Thanks, David, Marty & Colby!

Summary: The house was spotless and well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The beds were comfortable and we slept great! The location of the house was perfect, just a short walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. We will definitely stay at the dockhouse again.

Summary: House was clean and beds were very comfortable. Everything worked and there were ample linens. Host made us feel welcome and let us know they were available should any issues arise (there were none.) House was on the main road but we could not hear much, if any, traffic noise. Deck could use a little TLC but our stay was restful and enjoyable. We would rent again if a return trip to Tybee Island is in our pland.

Summary: The house is right at the start of Tybee and a block from a nice local bar. Nice 2/2 that accommodated me and a friend. Kitchen was well stocked and worked wonderfully for the long weekend. It also has a private back yard so you feel secluded. Lastly, the check in/out was super easy and the owners were very prompt with communication. Thanks!!!
