Positive: Absolutely lovely property - calm and relaxing. Easy ten to 15 minutes walk into the village where there was a great restaurant, bar and a grocery shop. Aldo and his family were very discreet so it felt very private and we loved the surprise gifts of vegetables, eggs and even a truffle! He was available for any help or advice when needed but otherwise you would not have known he was there. Pool was always very clean and fantastic size. It is unusual to find a private pool in a property of this size - just perfect for a couple. House was very well equipped - great attention to detail.

Negative: A note for others - do not let your satnav take you down the dirt path as we did at the crossroads at Morre as there is tarmac and very easy road to drive along instead. The track though is much quicker to walk down to get to and from the village than the road.

Positive: Upon arrival we met Aldo, man of just enough words, "wood"artist and with a great sense of hospitality and authenticity. During our stay we felt that we had our own space (the pool was all mine, the whole day ;-)) and Aldo keeping in touch if all was okay for us. We appreciated so much the sharing of food (including eggs and a extra big surprise and feast..), fruit, vegetables, from Aldo's land. Even a relative bringing us food "Supppli" one evening, telling us to eat it now it's warm;-). We are Italy lovers and often go there for holidays, and Aldo's place will be kept as a very special place in our hearts. This aera in Umbria was a discovery for us, green, peacefull and loads of history, and good restaurants in the surroundings.
