Positive: Easy check in, very close to the airport. Contrary to reviews, my wifi connection was pretty decent. Perhaps because I was closer to the reception desk.

Negative: Sheets could be cleaner, staff could be more helpful

Positive: The room was spacious, well located in Basco, 10 minutes walk from the airport but the hosts came to pick me up with their tricycle. Very helpful staff.

Negative: Sometimes the wifi would disconnect when there was heavy rain but that’s to be expected and it’s not the end of the world, read a book 😊

Positive: The lodge was in the town proper of Basco and the restos, banks, stores & church were within walking distance.

Negative: The hot shower did not work most of the time

Summary: We had a good time at the lodge. The caretaker was very accomodating and helpful. Though the airport was very near still

Negative: Only organised trips with government agences are allowed in Basco. Ichehan was fine, but the whole travel freedom was ruined with their rediculous town rules.
