Positive: Great location about 15 minutes from Seddon Park for the cricket. The unit was clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of parking right at the door. I was also given a free upgrade to a spa unit, which was a nice touch even though we didn’t end up using it.

Negative: The unit had hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner, but I couldn’t see any body wash provided — although the hand soap worked fine. Even though my stay was fully prepaid, I was still asked for my credit card as a cross-reference, along with full ID details, car registration, and a $100 bond at check-in, which was all signed off on, with the bond reversed after my stay. Many New Zealand motels have similar policies, so it’s not a big issue — just something future guests might like to know about.

Positive: Very spacious room, WiFi, comfortable beds and bedding, lovely spa bath, clean and comfortable, location was great, staff friendly. Great value for money. Good security with cameras.

Negative: Cannot fault it for its price range, good value.

Negative: Didn’t like that they made me pay $100 bond on check in even though I had paid in advance they refunded on Monday (we stayed Saturday night) just stayed directly across the road on Wednesday night no bond! Couldn’t sleep on bed it was too hard so I slept on single bed my child was on queen bed with hubby.
