Positive: The large windows afforded a great view at all times. The hot tub was very nice and worked well. The kitchen was a large size and comfortable to work in. Staff of Blue Maple were very responsive and answered all queries.

Negative: There was no slice toaster or toaster/oven in the kitchen. We ended up using aluminum foil (which I had luckily brought with me, as a base on the top rack of the oven and using the broil function. Quite a waste of electricity. The oven and coffee pot had not been cleaned. Some more cloth kitchen napkins would have been useful. There were no teaspoons and only one serving spoon. 1 large baking tray would have come very handy. Future residents should be warned up front that the key and lock do not work on the door near the parking spots. They will have to go upstairs to get in with the lockbox.

Summary: Pleasant stay and comfortable house.

Negative: Kitchen sink stopped up so used 🪠 plunger. Cool, had to turn on heat for 30 minutes or so. Need new pillows More casual furniture Photos on the website looked better than what we found

Positive: Plenty of comfortable beds for our group of 16. Large gathering area was good for Christmas gift exchange. Location was perfect as we had people coming from VA and PA.

Negative: Nearby rec center was closed so the indoor pool and workout facility wasn't available. More furniture/ seating would be helpful.

Negative: The house fees include a $125 cleaning fee which seems a bit high for the length of time we stayed (1 night) and the housekeepers seem to cut corners to clean the house. Bathrooms and bedding were clean, but floors throughout the house were barely cleaned, Dust, hair, etc. all over the floors, I understand is cabin in the woods, but at the same time is not a rustic cabin in the woods. The appliances have a layer of grease on all of them. The fridge still have some things from previous renters, bag of ice that smell like a wet dog in the freezer. Trash can outside was full and had to stack our trash on top of the canister. Not too thrill with what I paid in cleaning fees. Seems like the owner is either not getting his money's worth for the services he is paying for,
