Positive: This place was an unexpected hidden gem in a very remote area. Georg was an exceptionally helpful host. It was the perfect place to recover after our tough hike, with a cozy fireplace, a sauna with an impressive view, and very comfortable beds.

Positive: Amazing hidden gem. Really well thought out. Fully equipped and the extra touches like underfloor heating, the extra linens and ample towels etc just makes it the most delightful winter stay. The bathroom isnlike a private spa. Gevorg and the owner were extremely responsive, they even organized a comfortable transfer from the area to the airport at a fair price. Both were also extremely responsive. We really enjoyed playing games like table tennis and hiking on the mountain and seeing the frozen lake, wish we could have spent more time. The stars are amazing at night but please consider providing eye masks for sleeping as we had the full moon coming over the room which would wake us up at 2am. Overall an amazing experience.

Negative: There was only one issue and that was with regard to payment. When we reserved our booking, booking.com email stated and I quote 'This accommodation provider accepts the following forms of payment: American Express, Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Cash' We assumed that meant we could pay with our card as we did at other places in Armenia. There was no card machine so we tried bank transfers but unfortunately our countries didnt allow transfer to Armenia so in the end Gevorg took my husband into town to draw cash. He was very kind and helpful. I just wish we knew about this before hand so we could have brought the cash and avoided the stress butnit was resolved very quickly and professionally woth Gevorgs assistance.

Positive: An absolutely beautiful and very clean house. The house has everything you need and more. It is clear that the owners are very attentive and responsible in their work and in responding to guest reviews. The surrounding nature is incredibly beautiful. I also highly recommend buying honey from Gevorg. It is very tasty and natural honey.

Positive: Honestly, the best place I’ve ever stayed! Beautiful inside and out — every little detail is thought out. I’ll definitely be back and recommend it to all my friends.

Negative: Booked it only for 2 nights, but wish I had stayed longer. You really need at least 3 nights to enjoy everything — go hiking, sit around the fireplace, play ping pong and pétanque, have your morning coffee on the rooftop, relax in the hammock etc.

Summary: Love this place with all my heart!

Positive: Undoubtedly the best stay I ever had in Armenia! The host thought about every little detail to make staying there as comfortable as possible. At this property, a remote location within the nature balances perfectly with a beautiful and modern interior. We were met by an employee - Gevork - who was super friendly and kind.
