Summary: Amazing holidays on the beach

Summary: My family was in Porto Covo for a wedding and our first time in Portugal. Sara's house on the Atlantic was outstanding. The location could not be better. It was walking distance to the town, the beach and the beautiful cove was right next door. There is also a walking trail right outside the garden gate. The home gave us a real authentic Portugal experience. Sara was very prompt on every inquiry. It is not luxurious, but well appointed with all you need. It is the perfect family vacation home. I hope to return some day. Five stars!

Summary: We really liked the house and it`s surroundings. Just below the house there is a path wich leads to the supermarket and from there just a few minutes to the pedestian street with many restaurants. We had some problem with the gasstove and in half an hour we got help from John.

Summary: This was our last stop on our Portugal stay and it was wonderful. The property is super quaint and well maintained with back garden and front that opens to sprawling yard that overlooks the sea. Sara the host was very responsive and the place was clean and beds comfortable. My favorite was the little fireplace and glass doors that open to the yard and the view and the little gate to the beach path!

Summary: Lovely, comfortable and well stocked house. Beautiful view with some grocery stores and restaurants close by. Beaches are rugged and breathtaking. Easy access to the house and easy parking. We were there for a short and chilly April stay ; the summer would be terrific.

Summary: My family and I stayed here for three nights, it was a spacious, clean and comfortable house with incredible sea views. There was a large log fire to keep us warm in the evenings but for us the most special part was being able to walk down the garden right on to the beautiful coastal path.

Summary: The owners specifications were correct. Deviating to the pictures we only realized that some furnitures were repositioned and one of the yellow sofas were replaced by a modern new (darker) one. The living room is homley and rustic furnished. There are a lot of candles avaílable to nestle in the evening. From the dinette you have have perfect ocean view. The garden is well-kept and you will find many seatings to chill and lounge in the sun. We were well cared by the gardener Jose. He keeps Saras and other houses in view. If you have any requests or you need help, Jose and Sara will support directly. The kitchen is small, simple, the sink/drain smells mouldy and getting a bit long in the tooth but it´s really well equipped. All kitchen equipments are working perfect.We only missed the old-fashioned „Caffettiera“ due to not prefering to use capsular coffee machine. All sleeping rooms have built-in wardrobes and offers sufficient storage room. We used the master bedroom, here in our sense (only subjective) the mattress is hard. The two bathrooms have no plug sockets, are simple furnitured and showing bald spots. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the stay at the house and could recommend the rustic house but you need to know that the kitchen is really „rustic“ or characterise as old. We are not nit-picked and have seen a lot due to experiances in house and apartment rentals more then 15 years – 3 times a year.

Summary: We loved the large garden - amazing view. Lots of chairs and tables in the garden. We made barbecues one evening and found all the necessary equipment needed. We were a family with our children on a trip. Since our children have passed 20, we will say that this house works perfect to 4 couples. Porto Covo is a really small town. We found it authentic and real portuguese. Several good place to eat out. All in walking distance from house. Several good beaches just 3 minutters from the house We never met the owner of the house. Made all clarifications on mail. Responded to all my strange questions quickly - clarifying and service minded. Thumbs up!!! Other good things about the property: Easy access, good parking for the car, good sofa in the living room, wifi ok, clean No negative comments from us. Recommend the place to everyone

Summary: We loved our stay. It is a spaceous and fully and well equiped house right on the cliffs. The view towards the sea is perfect. It it gets too windy there is also a second protected part of the garden. The organisation went very smooth and with perfect service.
