Summary: Home was cute and comfortable for our stay of 3 adults. Home is as advertised and met our needs, however, would not recommend staying with small children or pets. No issues during our stay and we would stay again. Host was pleasant.

Summary: The house was clean and as pictured. We had a minor maintenance issue when we arrived but it was corrected early the next morning. We arrived late at night and almost changed our mind about going in when we saw the alley entrance and surrounding houses. However, it was a quiet neighborhood and we did not have any issues at all with the neighbors during our 4 night stay. The parking area/back yard might be a challenge for someone with mobility issues, but this was not an issue for us. The heat did not work during our stay and it got much colder at night than we anticipated. I did not request maintenance for this, but I feel like it would have been addressed if I had requested it. The house is decorated nicely and is stocked with the basic things you would need for a few days stay. I especially appreciated the washer, dryer, and laundry detergent. For the price, it was a nice place to stay while we explored the Florence area. It is close to many fun things to do and great restaurants. We were in town for a fishing tournament and it is very close to the McFarland Park boat ramp. Overall, I was pleased with our stay.

Summary: Myself, my son and his family were in Florence to visit my daughter and family over New Year's weekend. The house is a remodeled older home with character. We loved the eclectic decor of each room. The home was warm and quiet with comfortable beds. Once you get a feel for the location, you find the home is centrally located to the historic area of Florence, local restaurants, churches and shopping. Della was a gracious host and we enjoyed several conversations about a stack of old letters tied with a strip of cloth that we found which were written to the previous owner. These letters gave us a special connection to that owner. We would like to encourage Della to continue to petition the city of Florence to work on improving the neighborhood to bring it back to it's former glory. We enjoyed our stay and will keep this property on our list for future visits.

Summary: Our family of five had just a few hours to find a place in Florence. This was the only property listed with such short notice that would fit us. The owner responded back promptly and was easy to get a hold of the whole time we were there. Everything was exceptionally clean. The bedrooms are a good size along with the bathroom. The furniture is very nice and it was overall just a great home and great experience.
