Positive: Morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the valley was very special. We had both lunches at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. A comfortable room with great views. But one of the best things were the staff. So friendly, helpful and happy even though it was obvious they were working very hard.

Negative: The only comment is it is a bit of a climb to get there when walking. We had no problem but it could be a bit much for some. You do not get those kind of views without a hill!

Positive: Beautiful place. Stone ,wooden beams but ultra modern. Great views. Friendly helpful staff. I had an excellent t bone steak and nice wine for my evening meal. There was a good breakfast included in the price, a good selection of hams, bread , cheese , cereal . They will also make you scrambled eggs. Make sure to ask what’s included in the price for the evening meal . We assumed it was a la carte but actually there was a fixed price for a “cena “. We would have chosen differently if we’d known this.

Negative: My satnav trapped me in a dead end that I had to reverse out of. Not the fault of the hotel! Have a look at Google earth before visiting.

Summary: Would love to have stayed longer and explored the area but our ferry was due the next morning.
