Positive: The history of the building, the great design and the friendly staff. They even made sure the dogs had there own sleeping beds and a bucket with treats and eco poo trash bags!

Negative: Nothing we didn’t like!

Positive: Wonderful Hotel, easy to find, plenty of free parking, great room (even without a view) and plentiful breakfast. The staff were very helpful and everything nice and clean.

Negative: No view from the window.

Positive: The hotel itself was clean and pleasant. The room was spacious.

Negative: I booked this hotel in preference to another because it boasted a restaurant. One day before the booking I received a text message stating that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment. I was unable to change the booking without having to pay in full. This amounts to misrepresentation. Booking.com should have been aware of thsi situation.

Summary: Nice hotel but I was not fully informed of the lack of a restauarant.

Positive: Lovely big room. Lovely countryside views. Very dog friendly. We were given dog beds and dog treats. Dogs can eat with you in certain areas of the restaurant. Great food in restaurant and nice breakfast
