Summary: I liked the resort and amenities. The food was not at the same quality as others resorts I've stayed at. The only decent restaurants were the Kulinarium, American Country and Torote. We attempted to eat at Torote for about 3 times, we were getting there before 8 and at times the tables were not filled and we were turned back. They were stating that there was reservations but they were clearly

Summary: customer service is really bad with staff at front desk. I've never been at a place where the staff tries to throw the blame at the customer. we booked three rooms and noted to be close togethor and they seperated us to the furthest points of hotel. asked if we could change and was told they could accommodate the following day but they could not accommodate. for everything they wanted to charge even though it was there mistake. i had family come visit and they were so aggressive with paying the daily fee an threatening of charging double if didn't come back at certain time they would charge double, made me feel like i was a theif or something. would stay with my kids in the pool til closing time at 8 and staff would come out saying POOL IS CLOSED GET OUT!. made my daughter super uncomfortable like we did something wrong. we spent a good amount of money to enjoy a family vacation with my parents and inlaws and the staff ruined the whole experience, feel like i lost out on thousands of dollars would never go back cleaning staff was excellent and food staff also but couldnt fix the damage the others already had caused.

Summary: Atmosphere was amazing. Wish buffet and some specialty restaurants had different options in menu, a lot were same options. I wish that some restaurants had strict dress codes. On paper there is a dress code, but it is not enforced. Drinks were tolerable but not quality. Overall vibes are good for a party hotel, but I wish there was more activities to have a great experience day/night.

Summary: The beds are some of the worst my friends and I have slept on in such a long time. If you’re over 30 you should find something that’s going to be more comfortable. The food options were not great either and it was hard to find food that was actually worth going back for more. Drinks were ok but we have also had much better at some f the other all inclusive resorts. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

Summary: My friends and I went to Riu Santa Fe for 8 days, booked the all inclusive stays with Hotels.com The resort itself is okay, nothing too fancy or exception but just fine for a week. Service is great, but the food in the main buffet areas is gross after day 3. While they offer a decent variety of stuff, they have some very artificial flavored desserts, too greasy, mass produced and a lot of it is inedible for the discerning guest. Whoever is the head of Riu's food and beverage dept, needs help getting a complete overhaul of the dining menu. Princess Cruises has a better menu, quality of food and isnt so unhealthy that you are desperately trying to eat anything off the resort/Walmart any chance you get. I know its Mexico, they have the fruit/tacos perfected - but they need a proper asian chef to fix their Asian buffet menu asap. Indian dal= way too spicy for North American taste buds Pad Thai- was some weird looking spaghetti floating in soya sauce/not even close Beach was beautiful, resort is close to the marina. Uber is cheap there, and if you befriend a driver there they will take you anywhere you need to go for flat USD or pesos. Get their cell# I will glady return to Cabo, but perhaps a different resort or Airbnb.
