Summary: The staff looks so miserable and is just generally unhelpful. Don't expect to get a Royal treatment at this "Palace". In fact, just lower all your expectations. Although this is a massive complex from RIU and two of them literally share the same name, you apparently should not cross although fences/barriers between them are unlocked at all times and some of the restaurants literally have the same names and offerings. Getting ubers or ground transportation for our larger party who was split between the two properties was basically impossible. The beach is dangerous and inaccessible for swimming or bathing. The only place which has food 24/7, "the lounge", is nothing short of inedible and it looks like a purgatory. Wi-Fi is unusable. Little burst of data, but watching a movie was impossible. They failed to mention that we had an account for free wifi and then charged us for creating one "because we didn't use the one they gave us". If you would like to be mistreated by rude staff, you can also try to get a table for a larger group. In fact, the options available for that specific experience are almost unlimited. That's the one thing you can be sure is included.

Summary: We were at the resort for 5 days and overall it was very good. The entire resort was very clean. Our room was great (we were on the 4th floor). Only minor complaint about the room would be that you can here everything in the hallway but other than that the room was big and clean and any issue we had housekeeping was more than happy to help us with. Pools were great, drinks were good (water down for sure). Loved the cappuccino coffee bar with a beautiful view of the ocean. Food at the buffet was the best in my opinion. Of the theme restaurants the Italian one is probably the best but overall I was not blown away by any of the restaurants, they were all kind of meh. Easy to get to town by taxi/ uber or even walk along the beach (takes about 30-45min to the marina)

Summary: Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms and overall resort were a bit outdated. Food was OK. Overall, solid experience, but if I were to go back to Cabo, I would probably stay somewhere else.

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation with family and friends. The facility had many events for all ages: the Rui Party at the sister hotel - Santa Fe - for the younger more energetic people, fitness and sun games round the one pool or a quiet more relaxed atmosphere at the other, lots of food and drink choices. All the staff were friendly and the service was great. The hotel was bright and cheerful with lots of flowering plants and shade trees. I will go back to this resort.

Summary: As expected for a very busy resort. Bed was a little too hard but rather that than too soft. The resort was fully booked but didn’t feel overwhelmed. I would come here again if I return to Cabo

Summary: Enjoyed the hotel. Very clean and staff were great, very attentive. The shuttle service was confusing got sent around but regardless would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Summary: Room was dated needed a lot of work, bed was horrible it felt like we where sinking, also the pillows where to tuff and huge. Food was mediocre at best. We opted for all inclusive will not opt for this going forward not worth it.

Summary: We stayed in the room that had the ocean view with a hot tub and the room was so beautiful. The pictures on the site do not do it justice. It was a two level room with a full size closet, hot tub inside the room and on the balcony. The food was really good and we like that. The buffet stayed open until 11 PM. Lots of food options and the drinks were really good. We also like that we had access to the other hotels. 10 out of 10 recommend this hotel.
