Positive: The hotel is situated in a small village. It was a national holiday, but there was a restaurant inside the hotel where you can have lunch and dinner. Prices were rather low, simple food. Though it is better to double-check the prices. Continental breakfast was included in the price, with toasts, ham, fruits, etc. Overall, it was nice. There is a beautiful river view 10 minutes away by car, and a small waterfall - 30 minutes by car. It was warm in the room.

Negative: The room was not that comfortable, it is rather small and simple. Overall, the hotel is a bit dated but good for 1 night.

Positive: What a find. Just amazing value. Basic room with large modern bathroom. A terrace outside with a bar selling drinks at very reasonable prices. Evening meal (excellent quality) included wine. Very convenient for visiting the Miradour over the Duoro (5km) do not miss it ! Renovation works at the site did not spoil our enjoyment. A must for Sendim. Easy free parking a bonus.

Positive: The restaurant at this hotel served excellent meals. I Had relaxing evenings in their lovely garden at back of property. Room was quiet and spacious with a modern bathroom & fresh towels.

Negative: bed could use a mattress topper to make it softer and more comfortable to sleep on. Near the end of my stay there was no hot water for a couple of days. Perhaps this was due to some electrical work going on in the reception area. The lack of hot water was immediately addressed after I mentioned it at the front desk.
