Summary: Literally one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever been to in my 63 years of traveling the world. The location, the food, the artworks, the rooms, the staff! Everything was superb. I was with my mother and aunt, both are very particular about their standards and we were all equally impressed.

Summary: A truly lovely, old school hotel. Beautiful rooms, charming and attentive staff and a perfect location - close , but not too close to the action of Venice. Our focus this trip was the Biennale, which was walkable. We highly recommend The Metropole.

Summary: Excellent hotel. Incredibly interesting atmosphere and ambience. Very old Venice. I felt as if I was in an Agatha Christie movie. Great service. Great food. My room was very comfortable. It was in the garden area. I highly recommend the Metropole.

Summary: The hotel is located at a prime location in Venice and has an antiquated/gothic charm to it. That being said, I would not characterize this as a true 5 star hotel. The service was average and the bathrooms need some safety-proofing or upgrading. It was a fine stay, but I wouldn't book again with the prices.
