Summary: Lovely little place with nice added extras but very over priced for what it was. We felt like everything was about money and the free breakfast they advertise wasn’t that great and had hidden charges. Staff were very friendly but felt like they were constantly wanting you to purchase over priced drinks when laid round the pool.

Summary: Beautiful and clean property and overall pretty good experience for a couple of nights. Our mattress was not very comfortable and likely needed to be replaced. It dipped in some parts. The pool was cold and definitely was not at 90 (nor even 80 or 70 degrees) temperature as advertised. More likely the pool temperature was in the 60s. Short walk to lovely Shaw’s Cove but there are limited spots to set your things up and it was very crowded.

Summary: The property is amazing! Everything is in the details. It’s super clean, peaceful, the pool is awesome, view is great, decor is INCREDIBLE, loved the record player and LPs in the room. Love the movies, the taffy in the jars, the staff are so sweet, positive and lovely. The food is also really great. The only thing is check in is at 4pm which is a little late IMO.

Summary: We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Joaquin! from the moment we arrived , the staff went over and beyond to welcome us. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the hotel was both relaxing and stylish.

Summary: A very tasteful hotel with vinyl player in the room. But it can get noisy in the morning if other guests wake up very early.

Summary: Hard to write a review of this property, the staff were genuinely lovely and extremely helpful, however the first night we were allocated a room to the front of the hotel, and due to noise we didn’t sleep at all. They gracefully allowed us to move when we raised the issue and the second room was much better. The rooms are a little tired. Furniture is a Laraine’s and walls need a re-paint, but they also have a lovely charm. Good location and beautiful beach. Having to pay a gratuity on the free breakfast everyday was a bit of a sting. Along with being charged the full resort fee despite the swimming pool not being operational when we stayed.

Summary: The room was very small, in the alley. Nothing special. Over priced for what we got. No tv in the room. Location was not ideal for restaurants etc.

Summary: Perfect! The staff couldn’t be nicer. The breakfast and poolside snacks blew us away! Perfect getaway, can’t wait to come back.
