Positive: This hotel was a true gem. The breakfast was superb; the service was impeccable, the extra attention to us by the staff was second to none. I cannot speak too highly of the service and friendliness of the staff. I was amazed at the level of service, quality and attention to guests. I will be back if I can.

Positive: Loved the bookable private onsen but recommend checking in early to get the best choice of times.
Negative: My single room facing the centre light well had a duct with quite a loud fan noise that went all night, so didn’t get great sleep. Probably not an issue for perimeter rooms.
