Summary: Hotel and staff are very nice. The food in the restaurant is excellent!! The provided breakfast has a lot of options, both American and Icelandic. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool but it looked very nice and saw a number of people using it. The hotel is quiet and our room was large and had a great view.

Summary: Fantastic restaurant and walking distance to great hiking. Terrible beds and pillows. Misleading pictures as they show a spa that is not the hotel spa but rather a very costly spa nearly. They do have a steam room and hot pools and a cold plunge pool but it looks nothing like the natural springs on the Expedia profile.

Summary: Nice location out in the mountains. Food was excellent at their restaurant. The canyon baths were amazing! It is a little bit away from everything, but that’s a lot of its appeal.

Summary: The restaurant on site was incredible. We ate dinner there: scallop appetizer, cod, salad, and pea ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Likewise, the breakfast buffet was delightful with a good array of choices.
