Positive: One of the best places we stayed in Iceland! Wonderful, wide views around the valley, renovated facilities, excellent restaurant on site and most helpful staff. Really glad we found this gem in a slightly less visited area of the island.

Positive: Multiple generation-family owned property. Very friendly and helpful with where to go. Beautiful views. Rather secluded on a loop that includes a lava tube tour, a glacier tour, a nice waterfall and river hike, a horse stable with tour, and the Krauma hot Springs Spa. We were there three days and had plenty to do. Most nights (if enough customers) the family provided a lovely and simple (pre-ordered) dinner with two choices of entree... Which was great because the closest restaurant was at the Krauma hot Springs (30?) minutes away. Breakfast was complete Scandinavian breakfast with plenty to eat. The room was comfy with heated floors, a comfy bed and a little loft area. This was a great choice for us.
