Positive: The stay is quite comfortable but most facilities are so out date.

Negative: Air conditioning system here is central unit through the whole hotel (as the reception told me). Therefore on the not-enough-cold-day, if the hotel doesn’t turn on the system, the rooms will stay with natural outside airflow. In my booking.com booking condition, there is well written that the room comes with aircond. The only offer from the hotel is they will refund the room fee to you but only the day you haven’t stayed. And pay the night you stayed.

Summary: Fortunately, the weather in the next and the following days are good. So I did not move out

Positive: The hotel is very impressive and big! Great facilities. But most importantly for us is that it is right on the ski area! The skiing at Cortina Hakuba was incredible (it snowed every day we were there!). The Onsen was amazing!

Negative: It's a little dated. Okay, quite dated. But the biggest problem is that we were overcharged significantly. We did have daily charges (mainly the restaurant) on our bill at check out, but the corresponding charges on my credit card were always different. Usually higher. Then there was a charge on my credit card for the day we left that wasn't on the hotel bill at all! I did some research and it appears this was not an isolated incident.

Summary: Great hotel for a ski trip, but watch out for being over charged!

Positive: The room was clean and spacious and we had choice between western style beds or Japanese futons (actually very comfortable, it was a good experience). The buffet for breakfast and dinner was offering plenty of options, and the food was delicious. The public bath very relaxing after a day of ski is a must! Definitely a very good place in Hakuba Valley

Positive: Well located in Cortina, good buffet breakfast and excellent onsen

Negative: Bit dusty and pillows weren’t comfortable. Wanted to charge for 30min early check-in and wouldn’t allow rental ski company to pickup skis onsite (unlike everywhere else in Hakuba). No other restaurant options nearby (dinner buffet expensive)
