Positive: Great location and friendly staff. The pool is an added bonus - wonderful on a hot day.

Negative: Our room was on the main floor and had a dungeon feel about it. Maybe a higher floor is better.

Positive: Very good location. Clean, excellent personnel. They helped with things outside their expertise, issuing documents we needed for the next steps of our trip.

Negative: The specific room we had was next to the swimming pool and during the day it was noisy.

Positive: A free coronita or jamaica on arrival was very nice. The location in La Cañada is spectacular. The restaurant next door (Maya Cañada) is one of the best restaurants on our 2 week tour of Chiapas and the Yucatán Peninsula. The room was comfortable with plenty of hot water and good air conditioning and a small patio. The trees and greenery on the property are really nice. The hotel has quite a bit of information for tours and things to do in the area. The hotel is walking distance to downtown and the area feels very safe. There was parking in front of the hotel, and it felt so safe I didn’t even move the car to the parking on site.

Negative: Most of the staff weren’t particularly warm, but this is the norm in Palenque. The jacuzzi isn’t heated and very cold.
