Positive: The space is good. It's not cramped. Plenty of places to explore so the kids don't get bored. It had some toys for them to play with. The garage is a nice size and you can walk around a large car. The furniture works with the house design and is comfortable. The garden and grass is well maintained and auto watered. The price per night was fairly cheap. Having sliding doors so the dryer can ventilate to outside while not filling the house with wet clothes smell was a good idea. The appliances were good and worked without issues. The floors, bench top and furniture were clean.

Negative: It suffers from either the owner not wanting to upkeep/not caring/not knowing about the property or the cleaner not caring about their work/not being vigilant. There were multiple cockroaches in the kitchen. The cleaner uses far too much air freshener/scented cleaner. The utensils like the egg flip kept having the end fall off and tongs were missing on the first stay but appeared on the second. The PowerPoint in the kitchen below the fire blanket needs replacing. The pins on the power plug for the lamp in the 3rd bedroom were bent from being torn out of the wall when the bed was put in the corner. (Use right angle extension leads) The wheels fall off the chair in the second bedroom. The aircon has not been serviced and has mould in it which is something I reported a year ago in her adjacent property. There is only a deadbolt on the front door so if you go to take the rubbish out you have to actually lock the door behind you otherwise it just swings open and your kids go wandering. This seems to be very common with airbnb's for some reason when you could just have a door catch as well so the door doesn't open itself. There was old food and kids toys under the couches and beds. The TV has been relocated to a wall right next to the bedrooms so you can't really enjoy a movie while your kids are sleeping. It used to be mounted to the garage wall so you could have had the TV louder without issues. The cleaner lacks care, leaving the welcome mat to the next door property in the middle of the driveway to be run over. Showing up with a child and in thongs to clean the properties. The vacuum had not been emptied in roughly 1 month and the filter was completely blocked and smelt rancid. The kitchen sink faucet is missing the aireation filter. The back screen door was left open and the glass door was unlocked.

Summary: It was good but needs some change.

Positive: This was a great family apartment for our stay to visit family in Bundaberg. And the bonus was that we could bring our small dog. The flat was spacious and clean and very comfortable.
