The Pine Bluff cottage is located on the beautiful shore of Lake Michigan, 15 minutes north of Holland, and 25 minutes south of Grand Haven. The house has large windows facing out onto the lake and provides amazing sunsets in the evenings. The house is a great place to host friends and family for a large gathering or just relax.
There are 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The kitchen is fully outfitted and perfect for entertaining, and a BBQ on the deck. The deck overlooks Lake Michigan and is a great place for casual dining. Washer and dryer in the basement along with a fuseball and ping pong table. There is also a changing room in the basement with beach towels, sunscreen, and a large shower to rinse off sand after a day at the beach.
Pets -- Dogs only with additional $150 pet cleaning fee. There is poison ivy in the areas around the driveway.
During winter months there is a snow plowing service that is not included in the rental fee. The service is automatic and the cost is $75 per plow.

Summary: This was a 3 generation multiple family members vacation of 12, ranging in age from 88 to 1 years of age. The house met our needs for everyone. There was plenty of space indoors and out for individual and group activities. We like to cook, and the kitchen was well equipped. Loved having the second refrigerator in the basement. Made memories at the beach (when the waves allowed and there was sand available), watching the many beautiful sunsets, nearby golf course, and a trip into Holland for some shopping and lunch. Would recommend for families and/or couples get away.

Summary: This was our second time here in two years. The whole family loves the house and location. It is incredibly comfortable for the 8 of us along with our two dogs. They have everything you need. Their communication is great and they are very responsive. We plan to come back.

Summary: This was a great house for a family reunion. The home is open floor plan and great for a big family. The house had a fully stocked kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The beach is barely accessible, but is actually much better than the rest of the shoreline where stairs are destroyed half way down the bluff. It is sad to see how erosion has affected multi-million down homes beach front access on the western side of Lake Michigan. The wineries, breweries, sunset views and state parks are great. Don’t plan on beach access from the house because basically non-existent.

Summary: This is our second year in a row staying here. 9 family members from MN, MT, TX and MO. We love the layout and the privacy it gives everyone but still have huge gathering spaces for us all to enjoy together. We had 7 days of perfect weather to enjoy the beach and the bike trails right off the driveway. This year we did a sailing cruise out of Saugatuck and thought we might venture out more for meals, but we got into a nice rhythm of each couple fixings a meal for the others and with a well stocked kitchen and a big deck we ended up staying in 6 out of our 7 nights to enjoy each others company and the sunsets! The beach is minimal but we were able to all find space to sit down there each day on the chairs the owners supply. We will be back again.

Summary: Overall the house is spacious. We had 7 adults, 4 kids and two dogs and had plenty of room. The downstairs is a big area with two sets of bunks, its own bathroom and shower, which was nice. The view of the lake was amazing and the sunsets we were lucky to catch were fantastic. Darn Rain! The kitchen was equip with anything you would need to cook with. WiFi was needed for a few of our folks that needed to work and it worked great. There were only a few things that would prevent me from giving it a five star rating. The master bed and twin beds were pretty hard, the outside tables and deck area needed a good power washing, the garage and entry way were a little disappointing but when you got upstairs, the room was spacious and the lake view was awesome. Even though we didn't ask for a handicap accessible house, this one was a struggle for a couple of our family members. And maybe the last issue was even though it's a pet friendly location, there really was no grassy are for them to play or do their business. We managed nonetheless! The location is great and very easy to get into town. We enjoyed the deer that live down the driveway. Having our own private beach was nice but will say the beaches at the parks are much nicer - more sand and just cleaner area. The owner was great to work with from the time we booked until we checked in. He was quick to respond when we had a tv issue, which we resolved. It's a nice place!

Summary: Our family enjoyed a vacation/reunion at the cottage. It was very clean and well supplied for our group! The location was just beautiful, with gorgeous sunsets which could be seen from inside the family room, or outside on a deck. The kayaks were so nice to have and were used. There were lots of friendly ping pong games between the kids. Many times we noticed the adults were upstairs visiting, and all the kids were downstairs playing, so all the noise was downstairs and that was nice. We loved all the room we had and all the supplies. Would definitely like to come here again!

Summary: The house was beautiful, the location was perfect and the host was awesome. Our group included 6 adults, two teenage girls and 2 dogs. There was plenty of space for everyone. The girls squealed when they saw the view and the beach. The house it in a perfect location. Close to Holland, Saugatuck and Grand Haven.

Summary: This property was a dream!! Beautiful views of Lake Michigan and a wonderful beach area to relax and take it all in. The house was great! I love all the windows so we could enjoy the view when the weather wasn’t cooperating. Great deck area as well and nice stairs leading all the way to the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed plus had spices and some extras that was nice. Check in/out was easy. Would love to stay here again :)
