Do you love Lake Michigan beaches and sunsets? Us too!
Welcome to our “Gone Coastal Getaway” in Holland, MI. It will be our first summer renting our 5 bedroom, 4 bath home on Lake Michigan. We completely renovated our 3500 sq. ft home in 2022. It has 2 living spaces on the main floor, gas fireplace to use and a full kitchen with a wine/coffee area. Upstairs has a master bedroom with attached en suite and closet. 2 queen bedrooms and a bunk room with a pack-n-play portable crib. An upstairs common bath for use and all the bedrooms upstairs have sliders to second floor decks.
The lower level has another queen bedroom, family/game space, bathroom and laundry with 2 washers and dryers. All 3 levels have high speed internet reaching the beach.
The outdoor living space is why we bought this home! With a deck off the slider, you walk to a lower deck area and only 42 steps separate you from the home to the private beach! You can paddle board, relax on the beach with a view of Big Red (Lighthouse) or bike/walk many area trails. There is also an outdoor fireplace and a basketball hoop.
Location is key on my vacations! This home is 6 1/2 miles (12minutes) from downtown Holland. The bike path is at the end of the driveway and tunnel park is 1/2 mile to the south. It’s quiet and relaxing yet so close to shopping, restaurants and many amenities.
Minimum stay 7 days, Saturday check in to Saturday check out.
Sorry, no parties, pets, smoking of any substance or loud music. The house has outdoor cameras (4 cameras that monitor all ground access doors), a noise detection system and a security code system to get in. All are required and may not be disconnected for any reason.

Summary: Newly renovated in 2023, beautiful home, plenty of parking, shaded back yard and deck framing a perfect view of the lake. Three large living spaces to spread out. We consumed the bike trails next to all roads for miles. Blueberry picking, disc golf, ice cream, mountain bike trails, pickleball courts, and Tunnel Park all within a couple miles. And private sand beach at house with sand bottom lake for as far as you can walk.

Summary: Amazing location with your own private beach on Lake Michigan and sunsets every night! Really made our vacation amazing while feeling very comfortable/homey. House is a gem and cannot wait to come back again. Home owner was very easy to access and came quickly to fix dishwasher issue. House is beautiful. Freshly and beautifully remodeled! Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals plus lots of dishes/plates/storage containers. Coffee/beverage refrigerator space was great to free up fridge. Huge kitchen island really allowed multiple adults in kitchen at one time plus huge table to eat/read at. Multiple spaces to spread out to watch tv! All comfortable. Bedrooms, really comfortable (great mattresses and bedding) and lots of storage space for clothes. Bathrooms had lots of storage too and towels. Laundry room huge with 2 washer/dryers, no need to wait for loads. Huge supply of beach towels provided. Outside - may places to enjoy Michigan from beach, lounge chairs on a lower deck, picnic table, lounging chairs outside house (front/back), basketball goal and fire pit (with all supplies needed toasting sticks, fire-starter, firewood). Beach shed is full of everything you need from chairs, umbrellas, 2 paddle boards/life jackets, boggie board. My family was entertained the whole week!! Plus great places to read and wait for sunset.

Summary: This house is amazing! Every square inch has been meticulously remodeled and is beautiful. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked. The open concept living and dining area are MUCH larger than the pictures show. The upstairs bedrooms all had walkout balconies and were super spacious and comfortable. The basement and large front yard were perfect for the kids! The back patio is literally steps from your own private beach - you can fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves. Downtown Holland is a short drive and worth checking out. We also drove up to Grand Haven for a day, which wasn’t a bad drive either. But with all this house has to offer, you won’t want to leave! The owners were awesome and very communicative. We would rate this place a 10/10 all day and recommend it to anybody looking for a PERFECT Michigan get away.

Summary: We were looking for a place that would house 12 of us from 14 to 75 and would be flexible enough to spread out or come together and this place worked out well. It was very clean and had all the amenities we could want. The kitchen in particular was well equipped which was important to us. Shawn quickly responded to our questions. Highly recommended.

Summary: This house was beyond our wildest dreams! The pictures did not do it justice. Just from walking in you can see the hard work that went into the renovation and everything including the decor felt very welcoming! This was my family’s first vacation together in 14 years so we needed a place that had room for new spouses and children. I loved that they didn’t cram in beds to increase the occupancy. It felt like home. The kitchen came stocked with every appliance, utensil, bakeware, etc. that you could possibly need. But the most spectacular part of this place was the view of the lake. It was absolutely incredible! You have to experience it for yourself to believe it because those sunsets felt like they were straight out of a movie! Pure perfection! We plan on coming back here very soon! Also, the provided board games were a nice touch (we played a lot of code names)!
