Positive: Excellent location. Comfortable space. Plenty of room. We enjoyed the deck throughout the day but especially at sunset and into the evening. My parents really loved turning the fireplace on at night. We were worried about parking but it was not an issue. We didn’t need to drive as often as we had anticipated because so much of the area is walkable from the property. Anything else we wanted to see was a short drive away. We also worried about noise level from the bar and restaurants on the street as we were traveling with a toddler. Even on a Saturday night it wasn’t an issue. She slept in the front room in a pack-n-play by the window and had no problem sleeping. We felt safe and relaxed in the space. We’d definitely stay again.

Negative: It was not really an issue for us but this is not a handicap accessible property. My parents seemed to do fine and my husband was able to carry most of the bags up and down. My toddler ended up having fun practicing her climbing skills during our stay. We couldn’t bring the stroller in so we kept it in the car. Not a big deal. Just something to keep in mind if stairs are an issue for anyone.

Negative: The ONLY thing that I feel could have been better was an explanation on how to find the property and access it. We arrived in the dark, had to snoop around for a while to figure out where to go. It was not obvious at all, and it was a tad nervewracking. But the condo was near the lake, restaurants, bars, & shops. The beds, showers, & kitchen were all clean and nicely stocked with high quality products. Would definitely visit again!

Summary: Other than initially finding the condo, the property was really, really nice.

Negative: The washing machine had water in it, wasn't sure if normal. Would have liked an extra hour to check out, but overall not real issues that impacted our stay.

Positive: Location was great. Across from the Butler to hear live music. Above New Holland Brewery with yummy cocktails. Walked to rent kayaks from In the Elements to paddle to Lake Michigan. Walked to take chain ferry across Kalamazoo River to hike up Bald peak. Close drive to Holland and Douglas. Breakfast at Blue Star Cafe. Fun town with friendly people

Summary: Would visit Saugatuck again.
