Positive: I enjoyed that the room was quite spacious, which worked perfectly for me as a manual wheelchair user along with my husband and two kids. The roll-under sink was amazing and made things so much easier. Even though we didn’t get a chance to use the swimming pool, I really appreciated that there was an accessible pool lift available. The breakfast was delicious, and the woman stocking items on Monday morning was absolutely kind and helpful. The room was pretty clean when we checked in, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning it again on our second night.

Negative: The beds were quite high off the ground, which made it difficult for me to get into them without help—especially surprising for an accessible room. The toilet was also too high; I managed, but it wasn’t ideal. Most importantly, when we checked in, we were told there would be a roll-in shower and a bathtub, but the room only had a bathtub with no accessible bench, which meant I wasn’t able to bathe during our short stay.

Summary: Overall, a good stay, but accessibility could be improved.

Positive: This Holiday Inn is one of the cleanest and best managed Holiday Inn’s we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in! It is very well managed offering a fantastic and convenient location with great access to Makoshika State Park and local restaurants. The on-site pool and spa is at the perfect temperature and was spotlessly clean and quiet. The staff who greeted us and checked us in made our stay memorable - shout out to Patrick especially, you were a pleasure to chat with and helped us out with our stay! The rooms were large, clean and comfortable and the onsite parking was safe and secure. A great stay, I wouldn’t hesitate to book again - the breakfast was a particular highlight! It was really well managed with a great selection!
