Negative: The bathroom was really tiny. Amenities in the room were basic. There was a microwave but no fridge.

Positive: We have always loved the breakfast at this hotel. And the location is perfect.

Negative: My family and I usually stay here when we go to Monterey, this past two times we have had to change rooms because the AC unit wasn’t working. We also found the cockroach in a room this last time we stayed there. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be staying here anymore.

Summary: For the price it’s OK however I’d rather pay a little more and I have to deal with the issues we have had in the past

Positive: 1. I got to the hotel early and the staff said I could not check in until the room was ready but the room was ready early. 2. The Dove products in the room are amazing! I only use Dove so thats a plus.

Negative: The curtains, did not fully close and my room was facing the stairs on the 5th floor, so everyone walking up had a glimpse of inside my room.

Positive: Liked the location and on site parking included. A good value for a comfortable room, pool, hot tub and breakfast all included. Would stay here again.

Negative: The room with toilet and shower/tub was a bit small. The fan didn’t work so room got steamy with a shower. Otherwise, no complaints. I like Holiday Inn hotels and have stayed in several.

Summary: Great value for visiting Cannery Row and the Aquarium.
