Summary: The cabin was beautiful, quiet and clean. The only issue we had was the water in the shower, it was either scalding hot or had no water pressure. Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway ! Less than 1 mile.

Summary: My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This adorable cabin was the perfect place to unplug and unwind from our hectic life. The owners thoughtfully stocked the kitchen for a light breakfast. The cabin was inviting, clean and well prepared for guests. Our only complaint was the full size bed and mattress. We prefer a queen. The mattress sank toward the middle. If you want a quiet getaway this is your place!

Summary: we booked for peace and quiet and fishing! Cute cabin and beautiful pond..terrible weather one day was a disappointment but not as disappointing as the lack of fish in the beautiful pond😕 we loved being able to sit on the porch and get to the pond in just a few steps...that was really cool...maybe restock the pond for the people who book for the fishing👍 while they are relaxing!

Summary: Hog mountain retreat is a cozy cabin overlooking a lake in the mountains. It is clean and had good quality and all necessary amenities such as nice bath towels, coffee/creamer, juice/milk and cereal. Nice outdoor seating with double porch swings in front and back porch. Property Owner and property manager both were pleasurable to interact with. We’ll stay again and have already shared this gem with others
