Positive: We love the cabin! This was our 2nd visit. In the Spring, the mountain laurel bloom everywhere. In the Fall, the leaves are in full color. We love the isolation of the cabin, the wildlife around the cabin, and we especially enjoy sitting on the huge deck looking our into the woods. We also love the town shops in Meadow of Dan and in Floyd.

Negative: One bathroom would be a problem for a family, but maybe not.

Summary: Relax at a beautiful, rustic log cabin, while enjoying nature all around.

Positive: Very clean, quiet, and cozy! Don’t rent this place if you’re looking for city life. Fox Trot Cabin is an extremely peaceful cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My wife and I enjoyed the quietness as we are city folk.

Negative: The fireplace was not in working order. This was very minor though as there is a wood burner for heat if needed.

Summary: Meadows of Dan offers tranquility and comfort along with breathtaking views, my wife and I recommend 10/10 for anyon
