Positive: The house is huge! It a beautiful older home. We love the space. We love front and back landscaping. The kitchen is real nice. The dining room table was large and could sit our family which ended up being eight people. We like how home was decorated. It had a nice fireplace in living room.

Negative: There were several things we didn’t like about property. The cost was very expensive. It was advertised as one price but once your are ready to check out you have another $600 in fees/taxes. It was way too much for 2 day rental. We were there for a funeral and really wasn’t thinking clearly. It was hard to see house address when we first arrived after dark. Neighbors helped us determine we were at correct location. A ramp to enter & exit would have been nice for my 85 year old who uses a walker to get around. We thought there was a bedroom & bathroom on main level/first floor. Our Mom had to step down/step up to go back & forth to bedroom and bathroom. We didn’t know this prior to entering the house. This along would have been a deal breaker if we had realized prior to signing rental agreement. That same bathroom toilet had to be flushed several times when used. That same bathroom needed a walk in shower versus small bathtub. And it also needed some where to hang or lay change of clothes. There was only one TV in that big house and it could have been larger since it was the only one. The upstairs bedroom with two beds not all power outlets were working. There wasn’t any access to a bathroom without leaving the bedroom. The smaller bedroom with king bed bathroom tub/shower was hard to get in and out on window side. It should have been a large walk in shower . There wasn’t any hot water out of faucet in that bathroom. The largest bedroom/bathroom it was hard to get hot/warm water from shower head. There wasn’t a curtain or blind in that bathroom either. The house had a lot of windows without any curtains or blinds. So privacy was an issue thru out house. The neighbors on either side could be looking at you because you can see straight to their homes. The windows with curtains had thin curtains. As soon as sunrise the light was coming in room from thin curtains in bedroom my husband and I slept in.

Summary: The house was nice but it was too expensive. And privacy is a big issue.
