Positive: The location was perfect for us, just a short drive to Haltwhistle where we used the buses to follow Hadrians wall and trips into Newcastle and Carlisle Everything we needed was at the property including a log burner which we used daily as the weather was a bit variable and a very comfortable bed with en-suite facilities,in fact both bedrooms had their own shower etc which makes this perfect for two couples Delicious shortbread was waiting for us we got there and was much appreciated with a cup of tea! Wonderful hosts who live next door were available if you have a query or need more wood and coal etc,a lovely place to appreciate the dawn chorus,if you want a place to appreciate your surroundings and ‘destress’ this could be for you

Positive: We had such a lovely two night stay here with our two boys. Tranquil & cosy and a gorgeous homemade shortbread to welcome us. The instructions in the information folder were easy to follow. The place was spotless! Ideal location for all sightseeing. Lovely lady. We will definitely be back.

Positive: The property was cosy snd clean! And lovely touches such as fresh flowers and homemade shortcake.

Negative: It was sometimes a little cold, but as long as we put the heaters on it warmed up after a bit.
