Positive: The location is wonderful - half a mile from Hadrian’s Wall Path, and one minute from an excellent pub. We enjoyed talking to the other guests in the Lodge at breakfast time. The hosts were very helpful.

Positive: This is an amazing and special place to stay. Me and my partner booked this place and what definitely a highlight of our trip. The couple who run it have done an excellent job. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the rooms are comfortable and beautiful, the breakfast is great quality. The best thing about here are the hosts. They are welcome, friendly and made our stay feel personable and warm. This is a place you must stay on your visit. You will not be disappointed. The pub across the road does excellent food as well.
