Positive: Very friendly host. Contacted me on WhattsApp and offered to meet us at the train station. Nice room with aircon and a shared bathroom. This is very simple, but more than adequate for one night and the price is more than fair. We came from Kandy, had dinner and a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed just 500 meters from the train station, before catching the morning train to Ella. Perfect - would stay again.

Positive: Sunil was a wonderful generous host! I arrived by train later than expected and Sunil made the special effort to come meet me at the train station in the rain and ensured I got to the accomodation dry and with a good price tuk tuk. The accomodation is located in a good central location, across the road from the Muthiyangana Raja Maha Vihara Buddhist temple, and easy walking distance/tuk tuk ride from the train station. I stayed just one night, My bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and spacious, with fan and air conditioning. The shared bathroom was clean and has a cold shower, toilet and hand basin. A towel is provided. Thank you Sunil for your warm hospitality!

Negative: That i couldn't stay longer and enjoy the surrounds of Badulla for an extra day or two!
