Positive: Very clean, close to Leland, beautiful view from balcony and host was responsive.

Negative: So many steps from parking to townhouse because driveway is icy to drive, but host mentioned that before we arrived.

Positive: Good location to access hikes in Emigrant like Kennedy Meadows and Pinecrest Lake. Well stocked kitchen. Hot water in showers. House can sleep many people - good if you’re coming with a big family or group of friends. Nice view of their local pond from kitchen and balcony.

Negative: Beds were terribly soft and saggy - our backs hurt a lot the mornings after. Room lights were quite dim and the light switch placement was not always intuitive. FYI there is little to no cell service in the Pinecrest area - we had to drive back onto highway 108 to look for service and get the house code. Make sure you are aware of this dead zone and get the code in advance.

Positive: Very close to Leland snowplay, 2 min walking. Plenty of space. Fully equipped kitchen is a big plus considering not much dining options around.

Negative: Bed is a bit uncomfortable. Mattresses are too soft.
