Positive: The location had wonderful views. It was larger than we expected and was fully equipped. A steep climb in both the car and on foot. You need to be a confident driver.
Negative: I asked for a firm mattress. I initially thought the mattress on the upstairs bed was firm enough, but it proved otherwise and we had to move to the other bedroom
Summary: We really enjoyed it, the area is fabulous, and would definitely recommend the property

Positive: We have just returned home from a lovely week away at Swiss Cottage. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the cottage, the comfy beds, the terrace with an amazing view and the well equipped kitchen amongst lots of other things. We couldn't fault it, everything was fantastic.
Negative: There wasn't anything to dislike about Swiss Cottage for us but perhaps the walk up is worth mentioning it is a little steep though our legs soon got used to it.

Positive: It was well thought through, comfortable, warm, clean and secure. It has beautiful views from the windows looking down on the town.
Negative: Nothing I didn’t like, perhaps a new duvet is needed for the double bed though- but not a critical as the place was warm and temperature well controlled .
Summary: Amazing place, beautiful scenic views, well equipped and host was responsive and communicated well.

Negative: Although the property is fine it is up a very steep incline. If you are not fit and able then this property is not for you.

Positive: Great size, nicely decorated, loved the outside terrace with a cracking view over Matlock Bath. Good location, short walk to the main Street although a couple of steep hills! Nice views. Host very kindly accommodated a slightly later checkout.
Negative: A very small thing but we like to have a TV in the bedroom. There were quite a few dead flies under the window in the lounge which had been overlooked.
