Positive: Clean and basic felt a bit impersonal and very functional not really designed for comfort

Negative: Room was tired looking design wise and had damaged fixtures- bedside cabinet had the back hanging off with exposed nails and bedside lamps had the shades only balanced on the lamp holder. Only choice was full lights on too bright or bedside lamps too dim. Suspended ceiling felt a bit like an office. Its a hotel room inside a cricket stadium which perhaps is great if you are at a match but otherwise not the best. Clean and functional but felt more like a hostel. Also on the flight path for Leeds airport with engine noise regularly

Summary: Ok needs a refurb to modernise and softer finishing touches to improve the overall experience

Positive: Very friendly & helpful staff. Great view, even the non-sport lovers amongst us loved the sight of the stadium first thing in the morning. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Negative: The room was very warm, there was no AC & initially no fan. We mentioned this to the very good staff, however, who quickly sourced a fan and delivered it to the room.
