Positive: Loved the view - the decking overlooking Loch Oich - the best of all the lodges in the area (in our opinion). The Beds, seating, rooms were all comfortable. Facilities were generally clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for a short stay.
Negative: TV reception and WIFI reception could have been better. Mains water not available, but we did have access to tap water which we boiled before use - not a great hardship but was something to consider. Children's playground area was empty, any facilities there have clearly been removed and nothing replaced. Did not notice restaurant or office area open - looked abandoned.
Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed it, would have been better if children's play park area had some facilities

Positive: Hayfield lodge was our sixth stop on our tour of England and Scotland and I have to say that this accommodation was the best. Location flawless, perfect for our excursions. Immense tranquility yet very close to Fort Williams. Amenities above standard. Communication with Val excellent. Will definitely be our first choice on our next trip to Scotland. Thank you
