Positive: The attention to detail was exceptional - fresh bread, milk etc on arrival was a lovely touch. Fantastic location with amazing views, would recommend an early walk to do some stag spotting!

Positive: Lovely rural location.

Negative: Could have done with a microwave. Chicken wire on front fence to keep wee dogs (Patterdale terrierist) from going into the field would be advisable.

Summary: Really nice place for a short break. Easy walking loop down one side and up the other of the canal.

Positive: Easy to find, comfortable bed, easy to relax, quiet, peaceful with a modern interior. Nice little touches, like milk, bread and condiments. Host was welcoming, I’ll definitely book again.

Negative: Not that I was there for the WiFi but it was the only downside- and I only mention it so that others who need a strong connection know that it’s the highlands and this is the way

Positive: Really comfortable and had everything we needed, and more. Higher standard than a hotel, with toiletries and even milk and butter in the fridge. Perfect location for our weekend, with a day on Ben Nevis and a day in Dundreggan Rewilding centre, as it’s located between the 2.

Positive: Amazing stay at The Cozy Nook! Really well located to explore other areas of the Highlands. Our host was lovely and we were welcomed with a lovely basket of goodies. Gorgeous place and comfortable sofa and bed too. Highly recommend a visit here and would definitely stay again!

Negative: WiFi was very spotty but not much of a negative as perfect chance to switch off and relax
