Positive: Perfect location for going into town, handy to have an off the road parking spot, very well decorated.

Negative: Front garden could use a little tidy up, shower head wasn’t working but they offered to send someone out to fix so very helpful ( didn’t need it fixed during our short stay) couple of the oven trays weren’t cleaned but other than that was perfect

Positive: Clean and thought after, this little house offers everything one needs. Own parking space just a few yards away, less than two minutes walk to One Stop, and 20 minutes walk to the city centre or Cardiff Bay. And most importantly, a quiet and safe area. Inside you’ll find comfy beds (one double, one single) and a proper sofa bed in the living; a fully equipped kitchen, and blinds on all windows for a sweet late sleep in the morning. All together, a perfect place to enjoy your holiday.

Negative: There’s roadworks close by making car journeys a bit tricky at certain hours, just avoid driving at peak times when possible.

Positive: I am not sure if Claire was a bot or the actual hostess but she was in one word AMAZING!! She was always available and responsive and I did not face any kind of hassle while reaching the property or while being in it. It was the perfect getaway for a family, a couple or a group of friends. I would highly recommend staying in Haxby court by Switchback stays in Cardiff. It’s a much better option than staying in any kind of hotel where you cannot spend time with each other. Thank you Claire for being the best hostess and thank you switchback stays for giving me the best experience.

Positive: The property was in a very good location for getting into the centre of Cardiff and also for getting to Mermaid Quay. It had its own parking space just a minute's walk from the house and it was warm, clean and comfortable.

Negative: We would have liked the kitchen to be better equipped. Although a microwave was supplied there was nothing suitable for microwaving vegetables so we had to use the small cereal bowls with side plates as 'lids'. A fish slice/spatula and serving spoons would also have been useful.

Summary: Great location - easy to drive to and close to the centre, yet quiet. Warm, clean and comfortable.
