Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This place is beautiful. It’s Eli’s private house built in a traditional style - I loved this space. It was so serene & secluded, exactly what we were looking for. The bedroom is big, with a huge double bed. There are two bathrooms (one outdoor shower with a sea view!). And of course the house comes with its private beach which is amazing. Eli was a wonderful host - she prepared us breakfast every day, she let me use her washing machine for no extra charge and she even treated us to coconuts & bananas from her garden (also for free). Whenever she had fruits we never tried (like a cashew nut fruit!) she was always excited to share them with us. We also had a lot of interesting conversations about living in Indonesia etc which I hugely appreciated. I would definitely recommend this stay!

Negative: There was only one small downside for us - the private pool was a little bit dirty because currently there was no tool to clean it (if I understood correctly). This didn’t bother us as we’d rather enjoy the private beach but if the pool is something you’re looking for maybe check first with Eli if it’s working :)

Summary: A wonderful, wholesome stay. 10/10 recommended!
