The comfortable semi-detached house, furnished in a country house style, is just a few minutes away from the castle and offers you everything you could want for a wonderful holiday. The holiday home is ideal for 6-8 people. You live on 3 levels and enjoy exclusive country house flair. There are a total of 3 bedrooms at your disposal, an additional 2 children's beds in the attic, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, farmhouse parlor with tiled stove (decoration), an elegant living/dining area, a balcony and a spacious terrace with fantastic castle and mountain views. Outdoor parking is available.
Ideal for nature/outdoor and history lovers, as well as for anyone looking for peace and relaxation. Walking, cycling, lake and hiking trails into nature can be found directly from the house.

Summary: The house is great. Very cute and “Bavarian” feeling. The kitchen is very well appointed. It is possible to walk to Neuschwanstein and Howenschwangau Castles. Also an easy walk into the adorable town of Füssen. There was a little confusion at check in, as the code didn’t immediately work. Luckily, the cleaning attendant met us there and helped. Also, we’d booked the whole property…4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, but at first they had only prepared part of the house. The top floor was locked, meaning we had one less bed and one less bathroom. Again, luckily the cleaning attendant helped us sort that out, and we ended up with the entire property as planned. The beds are very comfortable, the family room has a great big couch and tv, and the views are amazing. Truly, the only real complaint we had was that there is no kitchen disposal, and you are not allowed to throw food scraps into the trash. It’s a little confusing and resulted in some extra work trying to figure out how to handle trash. That may be a municipality thing, rather than a house thing, so I hesitate to mention it. But, be prepared…this is something to plan for. All in all, a wonderful house that is clearly loved by the owners and well maintained. Would rent again for sure.
