Summary: Old mansion located close to the five points area of Birmingham. Great room and house. Parking in back is tight if you have a big car or a truck

Summary: We stayed in suite 8 on the 3rd floor. The house itself is very charming, but the stay was far from comfortable. The beds were hard, and the pillows super thin. The door to the room had a window above it leading to the hallway which lets light in all night. There is also a window from the bathroom into the room itself, giving you no privacy if you are traveling with others. A little before 1 AM the fire alarm went off, waking us all up. Everyone in the house was on the front lawn clueless to what was going on until someone messed with it and told us it was because someone was smoking in their room. Everyone went back upstairs and then about 15 minutes later it was going off again. One of the worst nights of sleep of my life.

Summary: Nice location. The communal areas were lovely and the bathroom was large and well-appointed. Water was hot, bed was fine, etc. It appeared they're still restoring our room though, so not everything was put-together.

Summary: I had stayed at the Hassinger-Daniels a couple years ago, when it was still being run by the previous person who had rooms with a beautiful decor and a great breakfast. The place is still beautiful, the bed was great, and I slept great, but the old beautiful furnishings are mostly gone now. And since it's been sold to a private equity firm, they no longer serve breakfast. All you can get now is water from a dispenser and coffee from a Keurig. I was grateful for the water, and I was grateful for the worker who found our missing water bottle. That said. It's still a charming place. But if you want breakfast, you need to go to the pancake house down the street.

Summary: It was like a step back in time. Such an exquisite mansion nestled in a trendy section of Birmingham. Definitely one of my best stays away from home with everything you need while not bothered by any undesirable guests. It’s a beautiful property with surrounding restaurants all within a 2 block walk. Amazing price for what you get. I definitely recommend the Hassinger Daniels guesthouse.

Summary: Ignore all the negative reviews from previous customers! This place was amazing and exactly what I hoped. Very clean! So many interesting things to look at around the main floor. Felt like a Victorian museum. Will stay again for sure.
