Positive: Breakfast good, although bacon and sausage had been cooked for some time. Scrambled eggs very good. Dinner very expensive - we went to local pub. Spa was excellent, especially swimming pool and Club Room.

Negative: Plumbing could be modernised. Dinner too expensive.

Positive: Breakfast was good and the house, gardens and surroundings were all beautiful. Big, comfortable bed.

Negative: Some of the staff were cold and overly formal - understand some guests would maybe prefer that style but it came across as unnerving at times. Spa staff were nice but again very formal - not allowed to take a sunbed outside despite it being 20 degrees - and the facilities could use a touch-up compared to some of the photos. Dinner was also overpriced and overly formal for younger people.
