Positive: We had a wonderful stay. The hosts Mike and Marietjie were incredibly welcoming and created a relaxed, informal atmosphere that made us feel at home straight away. The optional Braai dinner was excellent and very well priced, with top-quality meat sourced from local farmers and butchers, a real highlight. The views are beautiful, the accommodation is comfortable, and everything suited us perfectly. It’s also a great location for exploring the wider region, not just Addo. We’d happily stay again. A quick note referring to other reviews commenting on the road conditions: this is rural Africa! Roads may be a little rough at times, but that’s all part of the adventure and should be seen as the charm of being out in nature.

Positive: We had a great time here and owners were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved seeing the wildlife on the property. Unfortunately because of the ongoing drought in the Western Cape we were not able to swim as water is scarce

Positive: Amazing B&B. The location is perfect for a visit to for instance Addo Elephant Park. We (family of 4) slept in a awesome tent with two bedrooms. Highlight of the tent is the outdoor bathroom with shower and toilet. Owners/Hosts Mike and Marietjie are extremely hospitable in the most natural way and they go to great lengths to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The BBQ/Braai dinner that is offered is of great quality and value to. Highly recommended to complement a nice day of safari.
